I usually get row 3 and while I love the leg room, sometimes on a short flight (usually HBA-MEL and return) I'd love to watch some news or sport. On the older 737s this is available with live2air but not, of course, in row 3. So if I know it was going to be available I might select row 4 instead.

Is there a way of knowing in advance - at time of booking, or maybe when OLCI opens - which type 737 will be operating the service?

Row 4 won't have Live2Air either due to the row 3 seats in front don't have the screens in the back (row5 and beyond have the screens) I believe if the seat map shows 29 rows its one of the older birds with Live2Air.

If the seat map when booking shows 29 rows of seats, it will be one of the older -800s with live to air fitted. (the new aircraft have 30 rows)
