If my LAN flight AKL - SYD is cancelled on 06/04, who do I send a claim to? FF wise?

I have a flight from AKL - SYD on 06/04, and as mentioned on here and on AusBT and FT, some days the LAN flight is cancelled and people are put onto (A) NZ flights.
What have people on here have had this happened to them, being QF FF members, and having bookings on LAN cancelled flights done?
Send a copy of the itineary and NZ BP to QF FF and mentioned ORC?

Edit: the flight is booked under an LAN flight number, there were no QF code share on that LAN flight, on the day of travel, when I made the booking.

Hi Pooch,

Being on LAN really doesn't change the process of claiming - if needed.

Always allow time for the original flight to credit ... chances are if you're put onto a different carrier, it won't, but allow time anyway.

If they don't credit, email through a copy of your original booking and BPs for flights taken to the FF Centre requesting ORC.

It *should* be that simple.

Ok, will do. Give it the 4 to 6 weeks.
Can't wait.
Have flown LAN before, so know what to expect if the flight does fly.
Previously was a top up, from 17k to 18k (bought that 1k QF FF points)...
This time its pure $ via CC, so will want to "amass" that 10 measly SC, I know, disgusting eh, but I put flying a wide body more than a narrow. SYD - AKL will be an NZ108 767, (I hope)... and yes, I do realise that NZ also have a habit of substituting planes.
Right, looking forward to it.

If its a A340 from LAN I will be happy.
If they put me on an ANZ767 I will be happy, or the ANZ777. IF my LAN flight is cancelled that is.

A bit before 6am, I dont think the QF AKL Business Lounge at will only be serving breakkie, so no grog. Ie, you "might" get asked if you want a refill of a coffee or juice, but no grog.
Must admit, I have not been asked if I wanted a top up cider, when I was in that QF AKL Business Lounge during a lunch time visit though.
I have tried the Koru Lounge at AKLi, but will be using the QF Business Lounge, with access as a QF SG FF.
Edit: For Mannej, I am not, but I have been keeping a paw eye both on the ANZ website, as in the airline, for swaps, and also Flight Aware for cancellations.
Just so that I know what to expect.

Seems to me *if* there was an issue with the LA flight, the logical choice is to rebook onto a partner airline,being QF also in oneworld, in preference to NZ. Now maybe LA have a specific agreement in AKL, but honestly I doubt it.

Anyway whatever happens it's up to LA to sort you out. Why worry about the potential before it occurs.

Variation on the theme...

I'm booked on LA800/QF321 SYD-AKL for Oz Fest. If LA cancels the AKL-SYD-AKL sectors, what is the normal "recovery" to get pax to AKL? Since the QF 738 departs half an hour before LA800. And everything else gets into AKL in the "wee" hours.

PS. The sale fare on QF321 permitted a points and pay that was better than the classic award. 15.5K+~$100 and earning points and SC versus 18K+~$100.

My relationship with LAN has so far been outgoing flights from NZ only.

Think I did last year (?) though the point is fairly moot as we were there waiting before the immigration roll a door even opened.

I stopped flying LA over 3 years ago but ever since the QF Premium Check In lobby stopped being able to check in the LA flights, I think LA converted to Sabre, you no longer had the NZCS Pre-clearance as the LA check in desks were in the main part of the terminal.
Of course the passage of time means that this may be moot.
AustraliaPoochie grog was always available in the QF AKL International Lounges regardless of the time of day.
