IHG has a special Sports Supporter rate available for stays until 31 December. 15% off the Best Flexible rate. You need to book using the link below:

It's valid for stays in Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific and designed for people travelling for sporting events. In the rate description it says "Proof of attending sporting event or tournament required", although I don't know if most hotels would actually check this.

The rates appear to be flexible with free cancellation up to 6pm on the day before arrival.

Don't forget that there's also the Visa rate if you're eligible with 20% off IHG stays. This one is also valid in Asia but you need to book at least 5 days in advance and the free cancellation period is up to 3 days out, not 1:

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

The Friends and Family rate is available year round and offers 15-30% off BAR. The cancellation rules varies for each property, but they seem to match the Member Discount rate. I’ve always earned points and status using this rate as well.

The updated T&Cs make no mention of any identification or special forms that were required previously, so it’s effectively open to the public.

Do these promotional rates have an associated "Corporate Rate Code" that can be applied from the regular booking pages? Or are they only available via the link? Corporate rates are often similar discounts off Best Flexible rate, resulting in free cancellation with no deposit at a rate very similar to a non-refundable Members-Only rate. One I have seen previously shows as a Visa Card member rate (20% off, refundable, no deposite required) and works well beyond Asia locations.
