I'm optimistic really!!

Hi All!

After holding for 2 hours with Virgin to upgrade a flight to Business Class (I wanted a comfy seat to sleep on my 5am flight from CNS to SYD) .....I got on the aircraft to find out it was an Embraer and the seats were exactly the same as Economy class! Not happy!! I then decided I shouldn't get angry, I should get informed. So here I am, here to learn from you all.

I have been in a touring job for well over a decade and thought I knew the ins and outs of travel.....I now feel a little green and am humbled in your presence.

I look forward to becoming a learned traveller, and believe it or not, I am optimistic!

I don't share your enthusiasm. Same thing happened to me in November SYD-CNS and then TSV-BNE. It was the beginning of the end for Virgin for me....

Thanks JohnK - It's a shame, but I wont be rushing to fly CNS - SYD with Virgin again.

Thanks Eastwest101 for the links. I can't believe this issue has been around for so long. Now I feel even more stupid for not knowing about it!!
