is it just me? no problems on an iphone, ipad etc. I went through the testing page on VA's website to make sure it all worked. Go to use it on the plane, and all I get is a spinning wheel... I eventually got it to work through some contortioning whereby I would start it up in Chrome and get say a movie link, then paste it into my Edge browser, with the domain whitelisted to run under IE emulation. But that can't be what is normal right??

Seems that's the only way it works on a Windows laptop, with MS Silverlight and IE. (although the compatibility check works in Chrome and Firefox)

Yes it still runs Silverlight so make sure you've downloaded the app on an android or iOS device, or that you've got Silverlight before travel. Though sometimes that doesn't even work, YMMV....

Some VA aircraft have been upgraded. I was just on -YFW and the app redirected me to the Chrome browser with a message that the app is no longer required. Playback of a movie was flawless on my Chromebook.

I couldn't get it to work on my lenovo tablet either way on Mel - Perth - Mel despite the silverlight check. I could 'choose' what I wanted to watch and then just the spinning wheel. Anyone know another fix?
