Does anyone know why this comes up when making points bookings online? For example it allows me to book a ticket in Business from SYD-MEL return for only 40,000 points?

Is there some sort of promo currently on?

I assume you mean an Any seat award as a Classic award is 32,000 return. This is not unusual as far as I can see.

AS a WP you would also earn 2500pts and 80 SC's.
