We have been collecting points for a number of years - originally flying for work and more recently some trips and a lot of building points through rewards programs. Nonetheless - have managed to get back to Qantas Silver status and over the years have used points for Classic Awards, Upgrades and Points Pay trips. In 2022 we want to fly business class around the world (maybe even First) - we have more than enough points for J class. Must do's include UK, Ireland, Norway, North America and Macchu Picchu. We will be doing the planning over the next 12-18 months and will be following the discussions and articles closely. Any tips will be gratefully received.

Welcome!

Maybe a Qantas oneworld classic award may be the go.

Look and ask in this thread:

Welcome to AFF @Russell Lewis.

Oneworld award as mentioned is an option but taxes can be quite high.

Another warning is don't hang onto the points for too long as there's some chance they will devalue.
