Plutek - Give them a call. They'll sort you right out. Probably have to use the abysmal web app.

AJD - they have 24/7 on shore call centre. So emergencies they have you covered (apart from getting money out same day, which I assume most people have a secondary card anyway).

In general ING is fantastic IMO. I used to work there. They genuinely have a culture of caring about the customer. Everything is about the customer. Constantly the question is asked "is this good for our customer". I've never experienced a work culture quite like it. Their products are good, their digital group is cutting edge (seen the 4.5 star ipad app?), and they're always there. Not much more you can want in a bank.

Anyway not an official plug obviously, I now work for a telco (yes that one) and pine for the good ol' days of building stuff for a company that cared. Point is: GO SIGN UP. You wont regret it.

Have to say, for a no frills banking option that works well, ING is pretty good. An excellent second savings account. Also good for relatively cheap overseas cash withdrawals. Almost every ATM across Australia is fee free. Also lucrative sign on and frequent referral bonuses, and regular incentives to shift your pay into their account.

The T&C states as long you never had the everyday account from 14/12/13 -13/12/15 then you should be eligible.

No thank you. I don't see why I should give you, personally, a bonus when I already have several hundred thousand on deposit with ING. Why don't they offer it to me when I reinvest?

Actually I don't believe such phishing should be allowed on AFF but apparently the moderators don't agree with me.
