Was searching Youtube for some info on SYD Premium Entry for Virgin elites and came across this video on the newly opened Virgin Beyond Lounge (located directly above the pleb Virgin lounge @ T2):

Would be curious for those lounge connoisseurs what they think about this lounge? In terms of domestic lounges I've been to (mostly QF J/Club lounges and Virgin lounges) it certainly appears to be a cut above the rest! In terms of international business lounges it's about average (not as nice as the Polaris lounge or Emirates lounge for instance).

Do they use plastic champagne flutes in the QF Chairman’s lounge ?.

But again you are conflating domestic and international. It’s equivalent in standing ( but possibly not in quality) to the Qantas chairman’s lounge not their F lounge.
