Found a few Classic J SYD-HKG seats at 60,000 points which seems like decent value to me. Which aircraft will give the better experience? (The JASA is as low as 86,897 points - how many SCs would I get for that?)

Edit: Also searched for SIN-MEL - bizarrely the lowest is 91,000 despite being a shorter flight?

Edit 2: tried searching for a JASA SYD-NAN-HKG but the Qantas website wouldn't generate anything. SYD-NAN is an outrageous 115,000 points and NAN-HKG to purchase direct from FJ is A$1,200. Is there no way of getting a JASA SYD-NAN-HKG?

No contest at all - upper deck on the 747.

I'm from BNE (from where QF runs the A330 to HKG), but whenever I am flying to HKG, I go via SYD so I can get the 747!
