Quick intro: IT professional who flies enough to get WP on 90% discount economy. Did a status run to AKL recently during a DSC offer and got my platinum for the first time (thanks for all of the tips and trick!).
Have 9510 LT SCs so 67% on the way to LT Gold.

Am looking forward to using the F lounge in Sydney in a week! Am travelling to BKK with 4 colleagues, so am just deciding on who to take in with me....

Hmmmm ... if that's not a generic comment, (ie you have some knowledge on the subject), anything more you can share on the subject, subject to 'client' confidentiality of course?

It's not generic... but can't be specific Apparently they are working on it ... the decisions of Q re things like JASAs online etc would have to be addressed to Justin Hyams....

Yep. Qantas outsourcing their IT is one of the worst things they did IMHO... And I've never come close to their core systems! (Based on observations here and elsewhere)

From QFs perspective, it was a really bad move in terms of their ability to innovate, but it did allow the CIO at the time to get her bonuses... And I also got to hire a couple of the better people who ran as fast as they could from the schmozle that it caused...
