Hello all,

Got tired of reading the reminder that I hadn't posted yet every time I logged on to AFF so this should fix that...............LOL

58yo, based in Melbourne, mainly fly for social reasons these days (just back from a holiday in Europe).
I will generally tend to keep my opinions to myself unless I have something to contribute which
hasn't already been said by someone else.

FWIW, after 30 years with Q I voted with my feet and switched to Virgin & Emirates this year after a couple of episodes of poor service at Q.
The last straw was receiving a voucher which had to be used within 3 months instead of a real refund for a JQ overcharge and
having to deal with a patronising "preppy" instead of a real customer service person.

Cheers

Welcome vetrade

I know what you mean, It does get annoying after a while... but it motivated me, and I don't regret it. I' sure you won't either.

I'm sure you have lot's to contribute, and just because you have the same opinion as someone else, doesn't mean you shouldn't share it.

Just kept to a pretty standard route, Casanovawa,
London - Amsterdam - Switzerland - Italy - France - London
That was enough; after a while I just want to get out of hotels and into my own bed..............

Hello,

New on this board.Welcome to all old members of this community...
I hope you all guys will enjoy here.......

Hello everybody,

I'm probably not nearly as much of a frequently flyer as you are - only counting 6 trips Mel-Syd, 1 Syd-ADL, 2 to the NT and one to Europe this year. Headed to Ghana in January and the US in April. Pretty much all of my travel is for study, work or conferences...so not that exciting. I'm always so astounded by how a big lump of metal managed to fly through the sky and having an aerospace engineer as an Uncle hasn't decreased that wonder at all (it helps when you can't understand a single part of the maths).

It looks like you have a great community going here :)
