I didn't think that Hawaiian was a partner of Qantas. I am doing a RTW trip later this year and I am flying one sector from KOA to HNL on HA (which I am paying for separately to the RTW fare). On the "My Bookings" page on QFF, that sector is shown with a little blue triangle (as distinct from the blue circles denoting OW airlines and the red right triangle of QF). The key shows that airlines with the blue triangle (as the one beside the HA flight) are Qantas partner airlines. When I look up Qantas partner airlines elsewhere on the QF website there is no mention of HA as a partner airline. Similarly, when I look at the HA website there is no mention of QF as a partner of HA although Velocity members can get points credit for sectors flown on HA. Can someone enlighten me as to why QF is using a symbol to show HA as a partner when there is conflicting information elsewhere?

They might have been a codeshare partner with QANTAS previously...

You can earn points more than Virgin, i.e. AA, CO, etc. See this page

I would suggest it's a limitation on the web site.

Obviously you have some information segments under your Amadeus PNR. oneworld partnre ailine segment show with a round blue dot (

You'd might like to use www.checkmytrip.com to have a look from a different view ...

The QF website is odd in this respect. It seems to use the phrase "Partner Airline" for any airline that is not either a QF subsidary or a OneWorld member.

In fact the My Bookings page considers Air NZ to be a partner airline as well!

So I wouldn't worry about it -- just a small computer bug.

I guess there is a technical difference between being a Qantas Partner and being a Qantas Frequent Flyer Partner Airline.

QF also used to use a green square as part of their coding on the "My bookings" information

There must be, NM, because in the "Earning points" section of the QF website there are listed QFF partner airlines such as El Al. No mention of Hawaiian here!

After the AN debacle, I wouldn't want to list NZ as a partner! Count the spare engines in the maintenance hanger!!
