patience and flexibility is the key. Also be persistent with your browsing. I basically checked 10 times a day to get the exact dates for next June and booked the sectors seperately as they were available.

I've been monitoring the trends with LAX and it seem that J is showing up around from 6 days out till T-24.

Don't forget that VA have the guaranteed family international award (4 pax) if you book 6 months out. At least for Platinum and it is economy, but it's there - I don't think that they changed it.

The guarantee is only for Y though, not J.

I am looking to change the dates on tickets I have booked to go to Eurpoe next year, and I can't find a single Y ticket, let alone the 2 x J that I'm after. I think I need to call, but I thought this was fixed??

Check the thread linked to in pot #3 for tips ...

Lol, thanks, have read all 3 threads! Much of the discussion is US-centric, and I can't find any availability for Manchester
I thought it was fixed, or at least improved. Yes, I know it wasn't as of the 19th, but how long does it take?! (Don't answer that ;-) )

FYI for anyone (everyone?) else frustrated by this:

Just called velocity and there was 2 x J (or more) availability for both flights on the first day I asked the consultant to check. He said the website problem was a known issue, but he was under the impression it had been fixed, and maybe the glitch had come back? Apparently I was the first person to mention it to him.

So good news, availability is there: now I'm just waiting for the 331 days so I can book!

Last update- tickets booked for the date and flight I wanted. 331 sleeps till we leave!
