very appropriate on R U OK day are you in fact Melburnian1 ?

It is flattering and very kind to post such sentiments, but undeserved, since the lynchpins of these fora are the moderators (who presumably devote a sixth of their lives, by time, to AFF) and to the aviation staff contributors who deliver 'inside knowledge.'

So yes, the last time I checked, the undeserving of attention contributor was sufficiently well for a delay contribution or two to resume. Unfortunately, mannej, delays have not been eliminated...we should wait for official judgement from the BITRE to ascertain if delays have 'eased' (although its stats. do not cover monopoly routes such as those out of AVV where there is only one airline providing flights, so the BITRE figures are never a complete domestic punctuality and reliability picture. Fortunately most routes have two or more airlines).
