Is the lounge at LAX (Tom Bradley) airside or ground side?

I have time to kill waiting for my boss to arrive in LAX, as he comes in on a later flight than me.

So my question is, can an arriving passenger on VA1 (Platinum) use the loft or the new lounge (forgot it's name), or is it airside and departing passengers only?

Airside - there [-]is[/-] was a pay (or PP of you have it) landside at TBIT - [the ReLAX lounge has closed].

(FWIW, VA no longer use the loft at T3 since all departures are now from TBIT.)

Priority Pass ... they contract with lounges around the worlds for their members.

(FWIW, VA no longer use the loft at T3 since all departures are now from TBIT.)

If you're referring to the ReLAX Lounge at TBIT, unfortunately this closed permanently in November 2013 and there are apparently no plans to replace it with anything similar, so there's now no landside lounge in TBIT.

I had a 7-hour wait in LAX and was hoping to use the ReLAX lounge at least until I could check my luggage in for my flight to Tucson - pretty weary after the long flight from MEL, so was pretty disappointed to rock up at the lounge only to find signs on the doors advising it had closed the week prior!
