I'm wondering if there's a thread for complaints with Qantas on this forum?
I couldn't find anything with a search.

I've been trying to redeem $3200 worth of flight credits for TWO years.
(the redeeming process on Frequent Flyer doesn't allow be to book flight)
I've had it with Qantas.

Countless phone calls and promises,.
Two phone calls three weeks ago from an Albert after I had sent a letter to Qantas HQ.
He said he was going to fix it and send me an email with a Qantas Pass. Hahaha. Nothing. Thanks Albert for getting my hopes up.
Sent a second letter two weeks ago to Qantas HQ. Nothing

Any advice?
It all seems so hopeless.

Use the Qantas frequent flyer area.

Note there are NO Qantas representatives on the site, but plenty of good tips on escalation of problems.

Sadly your kind of issue(s) are fairly common at the moment.

Frustrating for sure. Hope someone here can assist, glad you posted so we can what others experiencing.

Yes agree, the QF forum at present is full of problems that don't need to be a problem.

As a rule when something is cancelled I ask for refund not a credit. There maybe a couple of things I missed like double status credits on the next flight but I would rather have the money in my account than the promise of something at an unknown future date.

Including peeps who don’t actually fly QF….😏
Including peeps who don’t actually fly QF…......anymore..... some of them are still complaining about getting their pre-Covid refunds or using their flight credits. How dare they want their money back? What do they think this is?

As the OP of this thread demonstrated.

You are a such card dear eastwest. 🤣
I'm laughing so much I wet my trousers.😐
I booked a return flight for two with Qantas two weeks ago and paid an exorbitant fare.

It would have been ssoo nice to use some of the $3,200 still owed.
Perhaps Qantas can do with a new logo. ca62025c-f890-4757-a76d-867ec10a15cb_16666840991613.jpg

Pliny, I have read in another forum that escalating to CEO Andrew David via email can get a timely response.
Happy to share email if appropriate.

Can you either message me
or as a reply here

Not laughing at you OP, but QF with AJ at the helm couldn't care any about us on here.
Unless something like the *** thrower happens/if ever again, or affects him personally, nowt will happen.
We used to have a Qantas liaison on here, but they took it off.

Shame there's no input by Qantas anymore.
I found this link below which is an interesting read.
And on top of that Qantas received Choice's Shonky award.
I'm so disappointed an airline I admired and would only use for the past 40 years has come to this.

I think it was up to 3.5 years back, we had a QF liaison on here, unpain mind you, she was a QF employee, who with QF's backing and her knowledge and internal links to staff helped a lot of people.
Also made it not so necessary to waste time phoning QF up.
VFF side on this website still has someone.
I think the QFF liaison girl on here left, and no one from QFF refilled the spot.
And also since she left, probably QFF is also pleased no one has filled the spot, as more people have to phone up, putting more backing onto their (QFF's) outsourced call centre.
More KPI and revenue for the call centres.

Today I sent an email to one of the two mentioned. I delayed because I had written to consumer affairs but there seems to be no follow up to my request to look into it. So here's hoping.
🙂 I'll let you know if this is a better outcome.
