Whilst the VA website has got slightly better there are still so many things that seem to be problematic despite the significant VA2 changes.

This evening I was looking at some flights which on Google flights were showing as $95 for a light fare, this will let you click through to book with Virgin Australia but on the final payment page it shows an error because in reality no lite fares are available. I wonder if this is a google problem or VA?

Regardless I booked for 2 people, one with Gold status and the other with Red however seat selection is limited to behind the exit rows so the frequent flyer seating is not working despite the gold status showing in manage booking.

I've even noticed that airlines are not properly programmed in such as the new Air Canada partnership:

Recently I've had a few booking changes that have been done over the phone and despite when it comes to checkin they've been ineligible for mobile/online check in. I'd normally write something like this off but it's happened a few times now.

I'm curious what others have found, I can't be the only one with these sort of problems?

Heaps of glitches in the system. Need to get it sorted ASAP
 
I can't see any Air Canada trans-Atlantic award availability on the VA website, despite seats being available.

Also, as someone pointed out in another thread, some destinations that are served by partner airlines (e.g. MAA) don't appear at all.

I still can’t get the multi city option to work at all and plenty of glitches and issues. Disappointing but hopefully a resolution soon
 
I could literally throw the useless Virgin website out the window this AM…. Grrrrr

I have a booking that is using part cash and part of the much maligned travel bank that has been a giant PITA to use. Anyway finally ticketed and now the seat selection is only letting me pick one seat! (Booking = 2 people)…. Seriously…. Any tips? Maybe I’ll try and find a Virgin seating selection thread and ask there….

Tried to call their customer do not care line - and it’s still operating reduced hours because of COVID… sigh.

This is one of the reasons why I hate using Virgin for personal travel it’s always such a buggy experience…

Rant over, any assistance welcome :)

Its apparently yet another Travel Bank issue - what a surprise.

The ticket has become unticketed.... grrrr
 
They replatformed the website recently as the CEO mentioned the other month in a interview.

She said it was about 10 years behind the times.
