I've been recruiting more AFF'ers

So I noticed this guy on who was on every one of my CBR-SYD-HBR-SYD-CBR-SYD flights of the last two days. And I also noticed that he (like me) is more interesting in watching whats happening with the wings then that 6 month old eps of Modern Family that Qantas repeats over and over.

Anyways after the second flight I introduced myself and asked if he had heard of AFF, which he hadn't so I gave him the website to 'further' his interest in flying ;-).

So do I get a reward for bringing more people in ???

Indeed...the availability on weekends has been rubbish lately.

Convinced a friend of mine this weekend that status chasing isn't silly. She joined Velocity for her flights to see me in MEL. We have booked USA in early 2012 with VA. She has now aligned her CC with Velocity... was going to bring her here as a recruit but then remembered the pasting I get for my God-given gift of attracting disaster so thought I'd better not.

Text message today: "What does 20 status credits get me? Can I use that Priority Boarding lane like you now?"
