The other half booked ASA tickets on J* for this weekend. I'm just curious as we have a so-called "premium economy" flight up. Presumably we were booked into some kind of fancy bucket or fully flexible fare. What does this mean? Do we get SCs for the flight?

What exactly did you book?

Given that Jetstar has no premium economy (though that's what StarClass really is), I would think you're on a Starter Plus or Max fare - in which case you would earn status credits as applicable - but couldn't say for sure without further details.

One was T and one was N class. I guess N is Starter plus.

This is obviously a pretty academic discussion as I think my flight lands before they pull out the Moet and caviar.

There are basically 3 different fare types: Starter, Plus, Max.
All these fares can generally be any fare class (bucket).
Plus fare will get you 'Discount Y' points and SC's
Max will get you 'Full Y' points and SC's

JQ79x? You can post the flight number!

I'm not going to Maroochydore for espionage, it's just that I can't remember whether its 792/3 or 4/5?
I even got the class wrong, one was Q not N. All I know is that Japanese wholesalers aren't involved, although if one of them wants to send me some sashimi I won't complain.
