As we the international fleet gets changed and we see excess capacity start to be scheduled on domestic runs I thought it might be handy to have a thread that tracks the changes in case you are wanting to maximise those JASAs !

First up:

QF824/824 BNE DRW from 1st Apr 11 - THU/SUN flights operated by A333

Cheap JASA needs Business (U) inventory.

Qantas is tighter than the other oneworld airlines in releasing Business (U).

I have flown to Darwin both via ADL and SYD on the 767 and there is always plenty of availaiblity in the Business Cabin but no (U) to be seen in the weeks and days leading up to flight departure.

I flew via SYD three weeks ago and no issues with U inventory during school holidays, every day except Mondays there is at least one flight ex Syd for a 40K JASA for the next two weeks.

The times I have chased U class it has largely been available.
I flew MEL-ADL-BNE-TSV and return in May (and double SCs)
Sue and I are flying MEL-BNE and return for the AFF do next weekend and I have changed the booking twice.
I have booked MEL-BNE-DRW and return in U class for Oz Fest next May. When you look around there is actually quite a bit of U class availability.
