Thanks.....total bummer!! Maybe ill try anyway and see what happens.

I tried, but they were very adamant that there is no access. Also no additional baggage allowance or other perks. They allowed check-in via the business class (premiere) counter, but weren't too happy about it. This was my first experience (many years ago now) of code share services not offering QFFF benefits. Live and learn.

Also, do not bother signing up to Priority Pass to get into any of the "pay" lounges in BOM airport. It's not worth it. They are rubbish.

Unfortunately its only access when you're flying QF metal, which in a matter of weeks will cease to exist to Mumbai anymore.

Recently I flew from Mumbai on a QF operated flight QF51/52 and went into the Clipper business lounge, it was small and disappointing at best, food options basic, domestic Qantas club is far better.
I've flown SQ J class before to Mumbai and accessed Lufthansa's J *Alliance lounge, it was small but at least had better food choices.

Our only hope is if QF re-launch in the future to India again with more frequency, better aircraft and better business offering. **dream over**

This is what it says on the QF site.......The flight has a QF number, by reading the below you would assume you have access, although its not as clear as it could be.

Even if the itinerary says QF (e.g QF3950, BOM-SIN) if it's a codeshare flight you won't get access.

I found that out in October last year........ :-(

I believe that relates to Qantas operated lounges, not those operated by a third party.

That list is for access to a Qantas Club lounge. There is no Qantas Club lounge at BOM so it is not relevant to BOM departures.

This is a timely reminder to be careful any QF good news along the lines of - we are proud to announce new codeshare services to... Or even worse canceling QF metal and 'replacing' with codeshare.
