As the title suggests, are Jetflex fares with jet* considered full Economy?

The jet* website refers me to the qantas website and the only indication I've seen there is in the column headings with search for flights, which has links to jetsaver and jetflex underneath the red-edeal, flexi etc headings. But my confusion with that is that Jetflex is listed in the headings for Red-e-deal, Flexisaver and full flexible. It is strange that a red-e-deal booked via qantas on a jet* flight would be full economy.

For the purposes of SC and point earning, yes they are considered full economy.

I note the T&C have been updated recently for Jetstar.
Code:
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Jetstar Airways (VY) Jet Flex Economy 1 -
(JQ) (3K) (VF) (DJ) StarClass Premium 1 25%
                  ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Status Credits are earned on all eligible Booking Classes. Flights
operated by Jetstar Asia (3K) and Valueair (VF) do not offer
                   StarClass.
Excluded: Points and Status Credits are not earned when travelling
in the Economy Cabin on flights with a Jetstar (JQ) flight number
as part of a Qantas International fare or on Qantas codeshare
flights (ie with a QF flight number) operated by Jetstar other than
                   in Economy classes of B, H, K or Y.

FWIW, it was:

The changes enforce some things and reveal others including that V and Y are the "Jetflex" classes for JQ flight numbers.

Thanks for the help.

I'm still slightly confused by this situation, as per picture, for ADL-DRW on 9 June.

The only option including a red-e-deal is ADL-xMEL-DRW (jet* MEL-DRW) and it is the cheapest fare option. So someone on the cheapest fare gets full points but someone paying slightly more won't get any points for the MEL-DRW leg.

As I'm seeing it (and I'm hardly the expert) the only Red e-Deal option is the QF692/JQ678. Likely a Red e-Deal on the QF flight and JetFlex on the JQ. Looking on the JQ site, no JetSaver seats available on that flight. Presumably if you select a Super Saver fare for those flights you'd get a JetFlex on JQ678 too.

On the other hand, some of the other flights with Super Saver seats only, there are JetSaver seats available on the JQ legs of those flights.

So, I'm guessing it's just the way the QF site displays it. They'd normally book into JetSaver for Red e-Deal bookings; but since the only Red e-Deal option would book into a JQ flight with only JetFlex tickets available, it's displayed JetFlex as the JQ class.

Does that make sense? Expert opinions? :p

I've not seen that before, but it suggests that the MEL-DRW leg is on JetFlex and the ADL-MEL on one of the Red-e-deal fares. Looking at the Jetstar site, there is only JetFlex available on that flight for MEL-DRW (at $489)

This makes the red-e-deal bit from ADL-MEL a bit expensive though

From what I understand, the Jetflex/Jetsaver icons in those columns are applicable to flights on Jetstar, located further down the page.

In the past it has always been blank/nothing for Red e-Deal, JetSaver for Super Saver, blank for Flexi Saver, JetFlex for Fully Flexible and then blank for Business.

I'd guess this is just an error.

It should look like this:

Ahh, makes more sense. Thanks. I should have looked at Jetstar site in more detail

I just focussed on the direct jetstar flight JQ670 on the 11 Jun @$559. But I then opted for ADL_xAlice-DRW on full flex for $880, but Corp TA got full flex on the direct flight on 12 Jun for cheaper  (damn from SC earning POV, :fingersnap)

I guess in this case for the flight option mentioned, the JetSaver in the Super Saver column would actually book as a Jetflex if taking that particular option, but as Jet Saver on the other available options.
