Jetstar 3K luggage limits

Taking the plunge and trying out Jetstar Asia (3K) as my first international LCC flight, MEL-NAN on Pacific Blue 7 years ago exempted.

How strict are they on cabin baggage - will they measure and weigh it at check in? Premium airlines have cabin luggage rules but I've never been asked to weigh my cabin bag.

Not sure about 3K.

SQ would be regarded as a Premium Airline. Always been asked to weigh my hand luggage at checkin.

Most of my recent international travel has been QF and CX (CX my checked luggage was always 2kg or so over limit and they never said anything). Flew SQ in 2009 and wasn't weighed either.

3K agents will generally weigh everyone's carryon baggage and will generally put a sticker on there saying it has been checked. Just remember you are allowed 10kgs on Jetstar (excluding BL).
