We are traveling to Hawaii next Monday and we made the booking last year before all the Jetstar changes. Just rang Jetstar to see if we could add on to get the QFF points as it was not an option when we booked. They said yes but they would have rebook the tickets and would cost us $900 a ticket  we could make a new booking and it would cost us less. My question is can you upgrade the tickets at the airport when you check-in to get the SC and QFF points? I know you can sometimes upgrade to StarClass as we offten do this just not sure if we can add QFF point at check-in. Has anyone had experience with this?

Thanks
Scott

Personally, I would call again to speak to someone different and see if you get a better result. I recall a few threads on here about early bookings and changes, and how the original deal stands but it isn't reflected on the ticket or some such.

I would call up again, if they do not add in FF points or try to charge you for them remind them that at the time of the booking under the terms and conditions which the ticket was booked frequent flyer points was offered for QFF members.

You may also want to consider putting it into a letter asking for confirmation that the points will be issued, that way you have a written record of your request (although you would not be receiving a reply before next Monday)

If it was booked before the changes were made, then to get FF points it would have to have been a JetFlex fare. If it was booked in anything less, there was no option to add FF points - there was no equivalent of starter plus.
