Hi everyone, booking a flight from Perth- coughet via Singapore, fly to Singapore with Qantas then onto coughet with Jetstar asia (3K-537 )returning to Singapore 3K-534 then back to PER Qantas, do I get points and credits on the 3 K flights ??????????????????????? if so how many as I would only need 15 to get me to Silver. Thanks.

If you earned SC it would be 10 each way, however the T&C state:

Excluded: Points and Status Credits are not earned when travelling in the Economy Cabin on flights with a Jetstar (JQ), Jetstar Asia (3K) or Valuair (VF) flight number as part of a Qantas International fare.

Additionally it appears it needs to be booked in Y/B/H/K class to be eligible. You can see which class it is in your 'manage my booking’.

This is surely only for the JQ/3K/VF component of the journey? the PER>SIN on QF metal would be earning, even at the discount economy level.

Why not stopover in SIN each way, and book SIN-HKT as a separate ticket with 3K and take the plus option, will work out similar pricing but you get the SC you need.

Perhaps a moot point, as it looks like the OP won't earn any points, but by my calculations SIN-HKT should be just over 600 miles so would fall into the 2nd status credit zone. So would earn 15 SCs one way at the discount economy earn rate.

Yes, it is 605 miles according to Qantas.
