Can anyone tell me if Jetstar's star class seats are the same as Qantas domestic business ones? Can't find anything about pitch and size on Seat Guru re Jetstar at all and the Jetstar website just says large comfortable - have flown domestic business so know what they are like. Thanks HG

They are very similar, but leather covered instead of the cloth covering on the QF Millennium business class seats. Pitch is about the same as QF Millennium seats on say a 767.

Hi,

I found the *C seats to be slightly narrower than QF dom J.

I don't know if it has something to do with the armrests but they feel tighter across the knees.

I travelled in 1A (stupidly did not check here for advise before booking)and would never travel here again as leg room was limited.

I am however larger than the normal traveller so I need the extra width and I am comfortable in QF J but found the *C tight.

YMMV

do tell about seats 1A, think we have been allocated front row seats for our xmas trip to coughet, thought this was good, but since no seat guru to check... advice on what seats are best in star class would be great too. Thanks HG

Stay away from front row window seats as they have limited legroom. However front row centre would be good as there is only 2 seats in this row.

Flew OOL - NRT return a few wks ago, allocated 2D on the return, best seat on the plane, check with seatguru, I did:cool:

Outbound was a nearly empty cabin, seat in front of me was not occupied, I think I was in 3J, so it worked well.

They are actually Millennium seats re-covered in leather.

Seat 1A (1K) also has the curvature of the fuselage encroaching from the left (right) reducing one foot space.

2D of course is the best but not by much from 1E. At 6' with a slight torso, I find 1B/F/J also OK - my toes just touch the wall when reclined fully.

Ok, i'm going blind, can't find Jetstar on Seat Guru and i've looked 3 times now, tell me the secret hiding place, I get Jet Airways and Jet Blue and a search for Jetstar turns up no results

Sorry mate, now I remember, I did a search on *Class seating, found an old entry from the early days of JetStar, someone had posted a picture of the cabin and highlighted 2D. I'll blame it on the jetlag yesterday, flew BNE-SIN...daytime flight, or maybe it was the shiraz...cheers. BF

Hmm I might change my 1k syd-hkt then. Not that I need a huge amount of leg room (173cm). 2K okay? I like windows obviously :)

2k is just like all the other seats, what is different about 2d is there is no seat in front, so when 1k reclines, u will notice:)

I have to admit, I was surprised and enjoyed the service to/from OOL to NRT, I'd do starclass again on that route.
