Can anyone tell me why I can't see any flights from MEL - HKT over Christmas? I thought you could book flights a year in advance? Am I doing something wrong?

Jetstar release seats at the 6 month mark I believe.

Might be 9 months actually. We have booked BA flights (one stop) as opposed to Jetstar's direct option.

Last time I checked (about a week or so ago) they were only up to October.

The BA flights via Webjet were waaay cheaper than the Jetstar option anyway.

ba mel-hkt??

Not sure if that's a go.

We booked SYD-BKK > BKK-HKT. But the point was more that we had been watching the Jetstar flights being released on a several-times weekly basis, and up to a few weeks ago they had only released to October.

Our flight dates are 22 Dec out and 30 Dec return, BTW. So it's a comparitive time of year, just not sure if BA do a similar flight (i.e. MEL-BKK > BKK-HKT).

And the BA flight is on Q metal anyway.
