Jetstar Flights to New Zealand

We have just booked a family skiing trip to Queenstown in NZ using frequent flyer points and I noticed that we Qantas on the Sydney - Christchurch leg but Jeststar on the way back.

The booking says it is an Airbus A320. Does anyone know if this is the same seating layout as the domestic flights here in Australia and it would be pretty uncomfortable for a couple of my family who are quite tall on a 3+ hour flight.

Furthermore, we would get meals and entertainment on the Qantas flight ... but will we have to pay for the previlage ona codeshare.

Jetstar A320 will be 3 by 3 seating at around 30inch pitch (ie knee crushing) - definetely worth trying for exit rows if you dont mind paying the extra.

Unfortunately I believe that as an FF redemption you will need to buy on board for food and digiplayers
