I know JQ intl has had issues in past not crediting points and SCs to QF but mine looks like I won't ever get the points/SC.

I flew StarClass SYD-HNL on 14FEB. My QF FF was added to booking, I reconfirmed at check-in and also at gate and was advise my number was definitely present. Waited about a week after arrriving back home and did the online missing points claim. Now 2 months later still no points - have called several times and get the same reply - JQ moved to new system and lots of problems...

Not sure what to do next...the only 'strange' thing that happened was the flight in question was actually operated by a QF 767 due to the JQ 332 non-ops...

Anyone else had this experience with JQ/QF points?

Two questions:

1. Do you still have the boarding passes?
2. Have you phoned QF or only done online?

Ans:
1. If yes, best call and arrange to fax copies. If no, may make it harder.
2. If no, then might work out easier. If yes, surpirsed they havent suggested answer 1 to you.

What a pain. Sadly, you're not the first to have this issue.

Did you purchase a Starclass ticket or was it a paid on departure upgrade?

If the former, then if you havent already done so, submit a missing points request and if you have follow up and see whats happening

Thanks for the replies guys...

Yes is was normal paid StarClass commercial booking - not upgraded.

I did the online claim...

I still have the boarding passes but QF advised no need to send in as they can see my claim - so I really don't understand what the problem is.

Should I send in the boarding cards to the QF FF Service Centre?

I would just give them a call and just check the status

I always post in photocopies of boarding passes to the Qantas Frequent Flyer Service Centre in Melbourne.

I post to: Qantas Frequent Flyer Service Centre, GPO Box 4357, MELBOURNE VIC 3001

I use the following pro forma letter (and attach a photocopy of boarding pass):

"MISSING POINTS – PLEASE CREDIT

QFF NO. 12345

NAME: xx_x YYYYYY

Carrier: QF (Qantaslink)

Class: Y (Economy)

Flight: QF 2545

Date: XX [MONTH] 200_

Origin: CTL (Charleville)

Destination: BNE (Brisbane)"

When you post stuff to Qantas FFSC, it is looked at more formally by the "correspondence department". As it is in writing, the request is taken more seriously. It does take longer than other methods but I find that the result is generally better.

thanks - I will send in hard copies...I've actually phone several times to chase and get nowhere really...I will send a more 'firm' letter this time.

Appreciate all the replies and assistance...thanks,

I had a similar problem but keep on the trail and you will get your points and SCs. Mine took more than 3 months to come through but you will get them eventually.

I wouldn't send original boarding passes but photocopies just in case they get lost in the mail. Sending copies will allow you to resend them when another customer service agent asks for them again.

Personally, I scanned mine and emailed them in with my 'story'.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Last JQ trip arrived back in MEL on 3rd April, no pints came through by the 7th so I registered missing points for the BKK-MEL leg but could not for the 3K SIN-BKK leg. 2 days later both flights were posted. Appears JQ/QF are being a bit slow recently in posting JQ/3K flights btu they appear to get there once you lodge your claim.
