JETSTAR & JETSTAR ASIA through baggage?

Jetstar has some cheap flights into Asia at the moment but can we check through the bags on PER-SING , SING-HK flights? as there is a 10hr gap which would be good to checkout Singapore without the bags or hassle of checking in bags again

Jetstar is a point to point carrier.No checking through of bags even if 2 JQ domestic sectors.

There is limited baggage connectivity provided in some circumstances, I believe ONLY IF BOOKED IN SAME BOOKING.

I did PER-SIN-PEN last Easter with Jetstar.

Definitely had to collect my luggage and re-check in.

Thankfully SIN airport is extraordinarily efficient and it wasn't too much of a hassle.

I understand there is luggage storage facilities on the basement level. The train into town is cheap and very efficient.

Note - Jetstar International leaving Perth allows 10kg hand luggage - they usually put a Jetstar sticker on your hand luggage so you can get through customs / immigration without being sent back for being over 7kg!!
