Jetstar Lounge Invitation Missing First?

Hi Brain Trust,

I've passed on a P1 invitation to a friend for a JQ flight but there is no first option under the drop down? Is this working as intended? Typing in First doesn't work either. Enhancement? This is under the independent 'Jetstar Bookings' option.

They don’t accept them for the F lounge when on JQ flights. I know there are some parts of the website that say they do, but I’ve had this arm wrestle with them before on both the P1 passes and the titanium passes.

You're right... there are a few areas where the invitation information contradicts each other. That's a bummer.

Who did you speak with? I'm currently having this arm wrestle.

Have had someone speak to the P1 VIP Team about this and I have spoken to the FF Team as well as the SYD F Lounge themselves. They all reiterated the same message being that despite what the website says, the passes cannot be used for JQ flights.

FYI, I was allowed access to the MEL F lounge to fly JQ on a Titanium pass. I called the F lounge directly, and they manually linked my pass. I used email confirmation from the F lounge for entry.

I guess I was lucky.

Would you have knowledge if Qantas General Lounge invitations (i.e. Business class lounge) can be redeemed for a Jetstar International Flight. I have a friend about to gift me one for an upcoming flight on JQ, but I wouldn't want to waste it if it will not work.
Qantas website specifies that it will work, but as I have seen above, there are many inconsistencies on the Qantas website.

No issue with what you are proposing. I did it for someone else in May.

First-class passes can be used on JQ, but it was not worth the headache. You're also leaving it up to luck on the day.
