Hi peeps,

recently had to travel to Launceston, and the only flights at the times I needed them were Jet* - travel agent booked the flights assuring me that they would accrue status credits (work flights we don't get points) - boarding passes say "starter premium".

Nothing credited, so lodged a missing points claim, Qantas (some weeks later) has come back and said flights weren't eligible. Have gone back to travel agent to ask why they think flights were eligible, haven't heard back yet, and can't find anything about "starter premium" online.

Can anyone shed any light?

cheers
Rebekka

I did look at that page - there's nothing on there about "starter premium", and I think from past boarding passes, starter fares just say "starter"

Your negotiated fare could include premium boarding perhaps, or perhaps premium just indicates a different version of the starter fare?

I doubt very much it includes premium boarding - almost everyone who works for the peeps I work for would be QF platinum! I guess I'll have to wait for the TA to come back to me :-)

QF Platinum doesn't get you pre-boarding on jetstar - you have to pay and have PB appear on your boarding pass to get it

I don't fly JQ much, but IIRC priority boarding actually appears as PRBD.

Your fare would need to be a "plus" or "max" bundle, which should yield a QFFP somewhere on your BP.

Yep, had a QFFP on my BP. The TA confirms it was a plus fare, and Qantas are apparently sorting it.

Good Morning,
I am travelling OOL to KIX on JQ on a 'BusMax' fare will I get 120 Status credit? Not to sure where/how to get the information from.
Thanking you in advance!
Ike

I also like when booking a Jetstar Japan fare on the Japan (English site) it has in big bold letters that Points and SCs earnt on the fare, but then a small symbol which leads to a footnote saying nothing on GK fares....
only somewhat misleading
