oops - I made a mistake on question 2, if a moderator can please change then do so, it should be "How would you rate the overall price competitiveness of Jetstar as a provider of domestic airline services within Australia? " (or something similar, but shorter if it doesn't fit)

Tis the season to be surveyed...

So how would you respond if you were surveyed by Jetstar about your last flight?

First up, this week I had to rate "Jetstar as a provider of domestic airline services" on a sliding scale from "extremely dissatisfied" to "extremely satisfied". (In the AFF poll version above, you can only check if you would respond in a positive manner to each/any question).

We would like you to consider the concept worth what is paid. That is, products and services being worth what is paid for them.

They wanted to know if I had any specific services issues.

Thinking of your last flight from AAA to BBB with Jetstar, did you experience any problems or issues of any kind?

Yes
No
Can't recall

Where did the problem(s) or issue(s) with Jetstar occur?
(Please select all that apply)
During flight
When booking the flight
When arrived at BBB
When boarding the flight at AAA (in airport terminal)
After leaving the airport at BBB
When checking-in at AAA
Can't recall
And the survey finished with the usual "25 words or less to improve Jetstar" to win $500 competition.

Based on my experience in NZ on JQ it is not that cheap (marginally cheaper than NZ), late, cramped, with poor on board offerings and just carp. I mean really really carp. I don't like carp. I will never fly JQ in whY again unless I have no choice (i.e. my job depends on me only flying JQ for a single flight - if it is recurrent I will find a different job) - I might fly star class though based on the fact it is the only real option to reasonably get to HNL (QF's pricing to HNL is hilarious - funnier than a Eddie Izzard, Bill Hicks and Sam Kinnison three way).

I have had this questionnaire from JQ twice this year.First was a flight that was some 4 hours late and they actually sent the nextflight out on time leaving those booked on the first flight to wait-naturally they got near zero satisfaction. The second was after they did everything right-I stuffed up OLCI,emailed them and it was fixed within 60 seconds,a plus fare that with extras such as excess baggage ended up cheaper than the standard fare, better than normal service and my QFF points posting within hours my responses were a complete turn around-reckon I must be in with a chance of the $500.;)
So I really cant answer this poll!

...I will never fly JQ in whY again unless I have no choice...

I have flown with J* in *Class (90%) and in Y exit row (10%).

Y exit row seats are fine. No issues with them.

*Class seats can get a bit cramped if the front seat fully reclines. I fix that my flying in row 1.

Y food and drinks are fine. But then I do eat just about anything.

*Class food and drinks are excellent. Always get off the aircraft feeling very full. The sweet trolley is very tempting to do another and another.

2 international Y flights (*Class was full) I flashed the Platinum card and used *Class check-in.

No baggage problems as I don't check bags.

1 late departure, replaced bad engine, in 2 years.

Excellent FAs who always seem to have a smile.

For me J* is excellent value for money and a good SG earner.

I have recommended J* to my friends. I do however tell them to get a exit row seat and to buy pre boarding it they have duty free carry on.

If J* end up with a few 744s after 24 Aug, I expect them to manage them very well.

I wouldn’t be able to rate them high on their overall quality, as they seriously aren’t worth it, having deficiencies in key areas, such as customer service. However, for what you pay and what you get, they often meet that positively.

i'm with munitalP on this one - this poll makes no sense.

As a LCC JQ offer what one would expect...
As a QF offshot with this we are one company yet we are two companies approach, no JQ does not get a positive rating from me. Esp when customer service bounces between QF and JQ each saying it's the other guys fault / problem.
