This is not strictly an enquiry about flying, but I am sure someone a frequent flyer will be able to help me. Maybe JohnK.
Mr. sinophile and I were in Bangkok in April last year during the red shirt riots. I had read about a shopping mall which only sold jewellery, but the concierge from our hotel warned us that the area was too dangerous to visit. It was somewhere in the vague vicinity of the Four Seasons from recollection. I have now forgotten its name.
Would anyone have any idea where it might be or what it might be called? I am not looking for anything precious, just semi-precious or costume jewellery.
