I find myself frequently searching for information, decided to join rather than just watch.

Swapped jobs a few times in the last decade, went from frequent International to Asia for work and pleasure, to monthly Syd-Melb, to twice annual to Asia, to twice weekly sometimes to the Pacific, to Twice monthly Syd-Melb and twice quarterly to Asia, to almost no travel for 3 years, and now two trips to the US in 6 weeks and lots of travel again.

Most of my travel I stuck with Qantas, as my father worked there for 40 years and I felt an attachment despite their other failings.

Before this role, I was gold with Velocity and Qantas, then no travel at all had me fall back to bronze.

Heading to US again this weekend, will be Silver with Qantas when I return. Thinking about moving my travel to Velocity regardless as Qantas just doesn't seem to have a return on effort. Points for upgrades are too high, and benefits too low.

Joined mainly to look at hints for routing and getting better value from the programs I am already a member of.

Thanks for the background, good to have you here.

Cheers
Matt
