I noticed an old closed thread about a JQ and AA interline and codeshare agreement so I was wondering if by buying plus or max bundles, can the points/SCs be nominated anyway to AA rather than QF?

EDIT: Poor wording on my behalf, it's not SCs but it is mainly about status with AA and points with AA.

No you cannot credit anything on JQ to AA

"Qantas codeshare flights operated by Jetstar are ineligible for any AAdvantage mile accrual or elite credit"
American Airlines oneworld partner – Qantas

Thanks PF, so that's QF codeshare and I'm assuming the AA codeshare is no more or doesn't have a bundle? ( I know next to nothing about AA).

EDIT.......disregard my stupidity. I've answered my own question by doing an AA search. I see they only sell QF sectors, not JQ.

One more question then, the only program that one can earn points and status is QF? Either by buying JQ through QF or by buying a max or plus bundle through JQ. No other airline programs?

...
That is indeed what is supposed to be the case ... ... ... I have come across a few mentions here and there that the AAdvantage computers sometimes have a little difficulty delving beneath the QF marketed flight numbers. (Although these were well over a year ago ...)

I dont think thats right. There is an option to earn Emirates skywards miles on JQ International. (e.g. mel-bkk)

I believes you can earn JAL miles on JQ Japan too.

Apologies did not realize that at all. Was thinking only of the JQ One World relationship, interesting about the crediting to JAL
