Hi Appreciate if any QF FF member has to wait 4 weeks for points and status credits to be credited on a JQ flights. The fare type allowed for points and status credits. Rang the QF FF centre 2 weeks ago and was told the “hold up is with JQ”. Any suggestions with QF or JQ please.

There are multiple threads on this topic. The only real thing you can do is to scan your boarding passes, email it to the Frequent flyer email address (please search it is in the threads) and wait.

You are not the only one, and it seems sporadic as to what posts when.

Its a hit and miss affair with QFF JQ points, I got mine quick in one instance, wife on same flights got hers within following 2 weeks, trip to HNL Nov last flight out points came following week, flight back came 3 weeks later, one would think by now JQ would get their act together.

They can post very quickly, also. Flew JQ35 on 24/12/11 and the SCs and points credited on the night of the 25th. Also flew JQ3 on 26th and they credited on 27th.

Flew JQ3 to Honolulu on Saturday Dec. 31st and points and SC's posted for Mrs Pyffii and myself yesterday...Well done Jetstar !!!!

I always take a photo of my BPs and if they haven't posted within a fortnight then I submit a claim to Qantas for missing points and SCs.

Then they seem to post fairly quickly.

My experience with Jet* has ranged from within 24 hours to having to claim and taking about 3 weeks after that. Consistently inconsistent.

I find that Jetstar flights usually post very quickly, and, failing that, it would require a claim to be lodged.

Other carriers can be just as bad... I took a couple of CX flights that connects from one another on the same ticket. The 2nd flight posted, but the 1st flight didn't. When I made a claim, it was unsuccessful, stating "No records of travel".

I had a heap of flights with JQ in Nov and was having trouble and wanted to do a JASA booking and needed the points - I kept ringing Qantas and eventually they got onto JQ and got them processed for me! But it was about a month after I flew them. So hit and miss with JQ (a bit like their on time departure and arrivals!)

Slightly different Q...I booked a starter plus airfare with J* primarily to get the SCs for the flight; when I did the booking, I entered my QF FF no. but now the eticket has been issued, I can see no mention of my QF. FF no. Is this normal or should I ring J* to add it? IIRC, previous J* tickets had my QF FF no included if I added it at time of booking.
Thanks

I normally find now that my QF FF no doesn't appear anywhere! Even after calling J* and asking them to add it. I just make sure I keep hold of the boarding passes and claim back later.

Don't believe it shows on itin any more. At least that's my experience.

Last jq flight of mine credited without issues about 24 hrs later.
