Well, there were some attractive offers - but JETSTAR website was overloaded, not responding at 25 minutes to midnight on the 4th - so I missed out. Lesson, figure the cut off is at least an hour earlier.
and 8 minutes to midnight froze.
I notice it says booknow.whatever in the URL. It should be book_if_lucky dot whatever. No drama, maybe a 100 bucks more to fly AirAsia closer to when I want.

Friday Frenzy Again $199 MEL - BKK Touted, but by 8PM lowest in month view was $340 odd.
Website slow, another complete waste of time.
Its a good deal for JQ as a lot of fools over the long weekend will find they waste their time too on very limited offers gone. It would be real nice if they retracted or updated the headline prices.
4 days of publicity for 4 hours of actual (if that) availability). Remains to be seen if they drip feed a few new ones through to make the process transparent.

I realise that others have pointed out that these fares are generally not available (or in such limited amounts as to be effectively unavailable), but did anyone else notice that the price of the PLUS and MAX bundles (earn SC's and FF pts, meals and less change fees) have dropped quite a bit?
