Well spotted, but I see $389 now, plus the fee for Visa card is a con, plus $35 for 20Kgs.
This was the fare I spotted BEFORE and during their sold out their sale ex Sydney. Availability good - dummy bookings gettable.

Bali is hot too. So far Vietnam is getting the cold shoulder (no JQ specials) maybe to do with that buyback deal.

That is one of the [few] advantages of the JQ mastercard - no booking fees on JQ.

I rarely travel with checked baggage... YMMV
