I did a cursory search first, and didn't see that anyone had posted this previously - so please report for deletion if you know this has already been posted.

Some of these are really great, such as SYD-xOOL-NRT at AUD745. This works out at 12,158 QFF (base + cabin), and 280SC (~AUD2.60/sc). Depending on your status, you can wrap-up a silver re-qual, or fly one other sector and qualify.

I thought these may have been noted in one of the JQ sale threads, but they’ve been going since last week, so are almost done with.

On the SYD-OOL-NRT thing, I thought the issue was the domestic flight being an A320 and the connecting to the A330? Thus less SC!

It must have been mentioned somewhere, as +1 has taken up the offer. The fares worked out of SIN as well, and * class was one of the cheaper options .

Interesting comment in the T&C's about having to buy stuff on connecting QF flights though.....

It was mentioned, just out of the way in the Jetstar international sale thread.

The trick with SYD-OOL-NRT is to find the one or 2 flights a week SYD-OOL that are JQi flights and hence do have *class. I think on a Friday or maybe Monday.

Im not sure how you came up with tith $2.60/sc? one way its AUD745 and isnt it 160 SC if you fly *C on the OOL-SYD sector too. AUD4.65 / sc? Maybe im doing something wrong.

This thread from jdevereux3 has the information on all JQ & QF services that depart from Aust. INT terminals in XLS & PDF format.

As referred to by medhead, if you can schedule it on one of the *class flights that depart SYD T1. This will score the full 280, giving the 2.60/sc result.

I don't see how it gets 280 at that rate, please break it down for us.

All I know is that it's 240 SCs for OOT-NRT because I've booked that trip and will qualify for WP for the first time as a result :)

Whatever happened to the QF connecting flights being in J for *class pax? They were the JQ6000 codeshares but were advertised as being Business class.

I'm thinking of giving them a go soon, but the sale isn't for the period I want just yet. Might be too early to ask but about the MEL-SIN versus the AKL-SIN routes... The latter is advertised as operated by JQ for 3K, so it is basically the same right? A few more dollars, few more SC out of AKL, just no Flounge.

(Yes I know, but the 'door on your left door' doesn't count.)

On the promo's, it has tended to say Y class on the connecting QF flight. On full StarClass fares it has tended to say J class.
