Thought I would take advantage of the cheap SCs and go starclass on Tuesday with JQ to Sydney, for around $250 I was getting 40 SCs, however there was a downside I had not figured on, the chance of my bag going on an Asia mini tour - and it did.
Needless to say the always inattentive baggage folks at BNE intl decided to put my bag in the Japan bound container, resulting in a hour wait in Sydney for a non appearing bag. JQ where unable to confirm whereabouts of bag until next day when it remained uncollected on the carousel in Japan, susequently missing the chance to come back home that night with JQ. As a result if was routed via CX and HKG arriving in my hotel room Thursday PM, thank goodness for late night Woolworths Variety in Sydney for the chance to get some emergency supplies :shock:
The ironic thing was my PA had originally booked me onto the flight as a Jetsaver Light fare - as in no baggage to check in - perhaps she new what was going to happen
