JQ692 - Melb-Cairns 1.20AM departure

Hi guys,

Has anyone done this flight? I'm curious about if it is a busy flight or fairly empty due to the time. Is it a flight that comes into Melbourne from overseas before flying to Cairns?

Hi Caden,

I haven't taken this flight (and based on the departure/arrival time don't think I ever want to!) but have done a little bit of research which may be helpful to you. Firstly, this flight only operates on Tuesdays and weekends and the only reason I can see for the existence of the flight is to get the aircraft back to Cairns for the next morning as it is the return of a late evening Cairns to Melbourne flight which only runs on these days.

Regarding loads, as far as I can see this flight usually has fairly light loads for obvious reasons, however this does depend on the day. I can see a couple of these services later in the month which look very full. Do you have a particular date in mind?
