I note that the Richmond v Blues game is on March 26, and I just so happen to be in Melbourne for the F1's flying in the night before.

Anyone interested in going to the game? I've never been to a game at the G, only at Telstra Dome (2 games now), and of course my fortnightly Eagles game @ Subiaco Oval

Looks like it will be a big sporting trip for me if I fit both events in (my F1 tickets are already sorted and in my hot little hands)!

I should be able to assist with cheap tickets to good seats. I'll look at some options.

Unfortunately I am in Melbourne the previous week.

By the way I think St Kilda made a moronic decision not to pick up Cousins when they had the chance. I am afraid it looks like another lean year....

I'm going and taking my daughter - we are both Tigers fans and hanging for round 1 (mind you she is only 5!).

I may be able to assist with an MCC visitor ticket, you'll need to get in early as they are expecting around 90,000+ to be there...

And i'll be working at the F1 that week as well.. I so love Melbourne and it's big events!!!!

As you know, I'm an AFL member who supports Hawthorn. (;)) Reserved seating for the AFL members area goes on sale in the next few weeks.

There are some Carlton Supporters in the family (genes from the other half) who are also AFL members and would attend. With enough notice I can get some good seats at good prices.

My only issue is that I am off to NZ for the weekend the next day ...

It looks like my father may be over in Melbourne for work that week also, so it may be Flashware x2; should find out next week

In any case, however it comes together perhaps we could all meet before the event. :)

I'll probably have to leave the F1 GP early, but that's OK; it's nothing too exciting on the first day :D

There is no F1 cars on the Thursday anyway... and it's pretty much over by 5pm anyway...
