Wow, very interesting development for Korean aviation!
Not sure this is in the best interests of the consumer, but when has that ever stopped the chaebols!!

So is Asiana going to be brought under the Korean Air brand, or continue to be run as a separate operation?

I wonder what implications this would have for the Asiana Club frequent flyer program, and in particular for those with lifetime Asiana status!

The Reuters report states they will operate independently for now, no forced redundancies, but no staff replacement until Asiana disappears eventually.
