KrisFlyer Global Redemption Sale on again - book by 22/09/24

KrisFlyer is offering 25% off all Economy Saver awards across the entire SQ network, for travel between January and July 2024. Also 25% off Premium Economy Saver awards on selected non-stop routes from Singapore to the USA.

Book by Sunday 22 October.

Seems to be in lieu of the usual monthly KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes promo.

Is it worth holding out for a similar offer for business or first seats? I've got 17k KF miles (of 76k total) expiring end November was really hoping for an interesting Spontaneous Escape option this month.

I expect very little offered next month for December travel

I literally booked my reward flights last week, had expiring points and needed to convert a few more from VA to have enough for our flights. This is so typical!

This deal is good, except that no changes and cancellations are allowed (booked under Y Promo). If you want flexibility, you should still book Y Saver.

You snooze you lose.

We procrastinated on this one, always a pain when you know it’s a use it or lose it fate, but after some thought we decided to book one.

However it was too late. We decided to book MEL-SIN ar about 9:30pm SGT time on the last day of this promo. And promo fares ex-MEL has disappeared despite being there an hour earlier.

BNE originating fares disappeared at 10pm SGT and of course LHR originating fares are still available at 6am the next day.

Either someone stuffed up the programming or someone stuffed up the T&C which state:

1. To qualify for the Promotion, tickets must be issued between 16 October 2023 (0000 hrs, GMT+8) and 22 October 2023 (2359 hrs, GMT+8) (“Promotion Period”), both dates inclusive, for travel from 1 January 2024 (0000 hrs, GMT+8) to 31 July 2024 (2359 hrs, GMT+8) for all destinations.

Upside if you want to ticket ex-LHR you still have 35 mins left to do so and ex-LAX you still have another 9ths to do so!
