Hi,
I am a believer in credit where credit is due and the Woolies EDR CC people came thru for me.
3 months ago,I paid some $130 dollars to a NZ wholesaler for some health foods.
They didn't arrive when promised , I rang , they promised again - and again .
Then they became uncontactable, no email reponse.
I looked up the corporate regulator website and the company was no longer solvent.
I faxed details to the Woolies Card people .
In 6 days ,a letter came and said the money would go into my account next month - which it did.
I am a happy card holder.

I'm also very happy with them - I lodged a disputed transaction with them in similar circumstances last month. Faxed off the claim form, and they'd credited the amount within two days. Letter was sent out to me the next week advising of same.

Financial institutions have strict guidelines in how they handle transaction disputes. To be honest 2-6 days for a credit is unacceptable. Instant adjustment of credit is the gold standard so long as the transaction was within the last 6 months and its not a large transaction. Glad to hear you were not out of pocket though:)
