Kunming 737 Repaired With Tape

As I have said before here, nothing surprises me any more.

I must admit to ahving helicopter rotor blades taped on occassions to assist with the balance. Not a very good long term fix but it can be of use short term.

Meh, I've flown on 737's in Australia that have tape on the wings.

I don't believe it is any old duct tape though.
 
Last year standing in the MEL Flounge looking down on the then new A380 with silver alloy tape being applied to the wing. The tape in the first post and this is the same stuff - its a aluminium foil tape with a super bonding adhesive backing - don't get it stuck on body hair ...!

I have a couple of rolls at home - 1001 uses - it's great stuff.

I took this shot from downstairs as I was intrigued at the repair (and happy in the fact I was on a 744 out of MEL) :)
