Lack of Hire Car in Melbourne for Emirates J passenger.

This morning I arrived in Melbourne on Emirates J. My car arrived perfectly in Singapore, but there was no driver in Melbourne. The Emirates representative with the car list was not around. I was told I could go upstairs and speak to Emirates, but I had time pressures so got a taxi instead.

Has anyone else encountered a car not arriving when booking with Emirates?

The flight from Singapore in J was very good. Flat seat good for sleeping.
