This was a stay that was part of our trip from this Trip Report
We had a very enjoyable 3 nights here. The apartments receive great reviews generally and have fantastic lake views. They are about a 500 metre stroll from the middle of (small) town. We have a 1 bedroom apartment 45sqq m at the top of the building-75 steps up from the road so not suited to everyone. There is a comfortable undercover outdoor setting with lake views, well equipped kitchen (not really used), spacious bathroom with good water pressure, a small sitting area and a large bedroom with a very hard bed (pretty common in Montenegro I think). The free wi-fi works well although struggling at some times-may be us using koomoot to record our walks. The place is spotless and the hosts were very generous to us-strawberries, figs, nuts and wine all home produced and some bought fruit. Some members of the family had limited English but we were able to cope. We paid the hosts to pick us up from Podgorica airport when we arrived and to drop us off at Podgorica railway station when we departed (around a 25 minute drive).
Italy, Montenegro, Serbia and Austria
First overseas holiday for quite a while for us- building a new house does that! We are off to Europe for about 6 weeks- visiting Italy, Montenegro, Serbia, Germany & Austria. As before we are using public transport to get around and mainly staying at apartments-we never did much travel for work...
